Master Plan
Master plans for chemical and pharmaceutical industries often include research and development, preparation of raw materials and agents (primary production), manufacture of finished projects (secondary production) and logistics accompanying the processes.
- Product-overlapping grouping according to company areas
- Alternatively separation according to product type (pharmacy, biotechnology, …)
- Uniform expandability of all areas (often small, product-specific units)
- Process-associated logistics close to demand locations
- Logistics interface to external transport as close as possible to the site periphery
