The personal data collected by us for the use of the contact form will be automatically deleted after completion of the request made by you.

d) For the application process

We process applicant data only for the purpose and in the context of the application process in accordance with legal requirements. Processing of the applicant data takes place in order to fulfill our (pre-)contractual obligations in the context of the application process in terms of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b. DSGVO Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO if data processing is required for us e.g. in the context of legal proceedings (in Germany, § 26 BDSG applies additionally).

The application process requires applicants to provide us with applicant data. Necessary applicant data are: first name and last name, post and contact addresses (telephone number and email address). For a video application, the application video is also required. This information is also marked as mandatory in the online form. Additionally, further information might be necessary depending on the job offers. Applicants (m/f) can voluntarily provide us with more information.

By submitting the application to us, the applicants (m/f) agree to the processing of their data for the purposes of the application process in accordance with the nature and scope set forth in this privacy policy.

Applicants (m/f) can submit their application using an online form on our website. The data will be encrypted and transmitted to us according to the state of the art.

Furthermore, applicants (m/f) can send their applications via email. However, please note that e-mails are not always sent in encrypted form and that applicants themselves must provide encryption. Otherwise, if the application for a job offer is not successful, the applicant’s (m/f) data is deleted. Applicant’s (m/f) data is also deleted if an application is withdrawn, which the applicants (m/f) are entitled to at any time.

The deletion due to a legitimate withdrawal of the candidate (m/f) takes place after the expiration of a period of six months, so that we can answer any follow-up questions to the application and meet our obligations under the Equal Treatment Act. Invoices for any reimbursement of travel expenses are archived in accordance with the tax regulations.

4. Cookies

We use cookies on our website. These are small files that your browser creates automatically and are stored on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our site. Cookies do not harm your device, do not contain viruses, spyware or other malicious software.

Cookies contain information related to your device used. However, this does not mean that we immediately possess knowledge of your identity.
On the one hand, the use of cookies serves to make the use of our offer and services more pleasant for you. For example, we use session cookies to recognize that you have already visited individual pages on our website. These are automatically deleted after leaving our page.

Additionally, we also use temporary cookies that are stored on your device for a specified period of time to improve usability. If you visit our site again to take advantage of our services, it will automatically recognize that you have already been with us and what inputs and settings you have made, so you do not have to re-enter them.
On the other hand, we use cookies in order to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our offer (see section 5). These cookies allow us to automatically recognize when you visit our site again that you have already been with us. These cookies are deleted automatically after a specified period of time.

5. Analysis tools

a) Tracking tools

The tracking measures listed below and used by us are based on Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f DSGVO. With the tracking measures to be used, we want to ensure a needs-based design and the continuous optimization of our website. Additionally, we use tracking measures to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our services for you. These interests are to be regarded as justified within the meaning of the aforementioned provision. The respective data processing purposes and data categories can be found in the corresponding tracking tools.

b) Google Analytics

Based on our legitimate interests (i.e. interest in the analysis, optimization, and economic operation of our online offer within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) lit. DSGVO), we use Google Analytics as a web analytics service provided by Google LLC ("Google").
Google is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement, which provides a guarantee to comply with European privacy legislation (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active).
In this context, pseudonymised usage profiles are created and cookies (see section 4) are used. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website, such as

•  browser type / version,
•  used operating system,
•  referring URL (the previously visited page),
•  host name of the accessing computer (IP address),
•  time of server request,

are transmitted to a Google server in the US and stored there. The information is used to evaluate the use of the website, to report on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage, for the purposes of market research and designing these websites as required. This information may also be transferred to third parties if required by law or if third parties process this data in an order. Under no circumstances will your IP address be merged with any other data provided by Google. The IP addresses are anonymized, so that an assignment or attribution is not possible (IP masking).

You can prevent the installation of cookies by setting the browser software accordingly; however, we point out that in this case not all features of this website may be fully working. You can prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing a browser add-on: (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de).

As an alternative to the browser add-on, especially for browsers on mobile devices, you can also prevent detection by Google Analytics by clicking on this link: Deactivate Google Analytics. An opt-out cookie will be set that will prevent the future collection of your data when you visit this website. The opt-out cookie is only valid in this browser and only for our website and is stored on your device. If you delete the cookies in this browser, you must set the opt-out cookie again. For more information about privacy related to Google Analytics, see the Google Analytics Help Center (https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en).

The personal data of users will be deleted or anonymized after 14 months.

c) Google Adwords Conversion Tracking

We use Google Adwords, an online advertising program of the Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, ("Google") based on our legitimate interests (i.e. interest in the analysis, optimization and economic operation of our online offer within the meaning of Art. 6 para 1. lit. f DSGVO).

Google is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement, which provides a guarantee to comply with European data protection law (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active).

To statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our website, we also use Google Conversion Tracking. In doing so, Google Adwords will set a cookie (see section 4) on your device if you have reached our website via a Google ad. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of the Adwords customer's website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and the customer can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Every Adwords customer receives a different cookie. Therefore, cookies cannot be tracked via the websites of Adwords customers.

The information gathered using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for Adwords customers who have opted in for conversion tracking. Adwords customers can see the total number of users who clicked their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive information that identifies users as a person. If you do not want to participate in the tracking process, you can also refuse the required setting of a cookie - for example, via a browser setting that disables the automatic setting of cookies. You can also disable cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain www.googleadservices.com.

You can find Google's privacy policy on conversion tracking here (https://services.google.com/sitestats/en.html).
